The United States Army Cyber Center of Excellence at Fort Gordon, GA held their 2016 Retirement Ceremony on May 26, 2016.

Insurance Risk Services located in the Historic District of Sanford will be observing the promotion of David F. Valenzano to President.  James Robert Hawkins who is the owner and current President will be handing off the torch to Dave on July 9th 2016.

Before long, residents and animal-lovers were chiming in around the town’s active “NextDoor” website community.

The Seminole County Branch of the NAACP held their 75th Annual Freedom Fund and Awards Banquet at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the Sanford Civic Center in downtown Sanford, FL, with the theme, “Our Lives Matter, Our Votes Count”.  Approximately 325 people were in attendance.

The Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center continues their “Classics on Magnolia” series this Thursday with the 1944 film noir classic, “Double Indemnity.” Directed by Billy Wilder and co-written by Wilder and Raymond Chandler, this flick follows the story of an insurance salesman and sexualized housewife.
