Chris Beck and I scheduled an interview for Monday morning someplace between here and there. He was driving home to Alabama from a weekend art show in Minnesota and rolling over the Kentucky hills while I was parked along the bay side of Cape Cod watching the sea yawn out into a horizon dotted with dunes and marsh grass.
