Chris Beck and I scheduled an interview for Monday morning someplace between here and there. He was driving home to Alabama from a weekend art show in Minnesota and rolling over the Kentucky hills while I was parked along the bay side of Cape Cod watching the sea yawn out into a horizon dotted with dunes and marsh grass.

Retired Seminole County Public School Teacher, Sharon Jackson has decided that her time is now best spent with working again. Her work now is invested in her business, Mrs. J’s Old-Time Goodies in Lake Mary as she creates yummy goodies for all to enjoy.

Local folk art maven, Jeanine Taylor, has earned a lovely new feather for her cap, as she is about to appear on the cover of “Where Women Create,” a national magazine. She has been honored by being written up by her friend and fellow art-lover, Jen O’Connor of Earth Angel fame.
