At the August 25, 2016 Monthly Eastside/Westside Community Meeting at the Westside Community Center on Persimmon Ave. in Sanford, the Orlando Housing Authority (OHA) presented information regarding the $500,000 Choice Neighborhood Initiatives (CNI) Grant awarded by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to the Sanford Housing Authority and the City of Sanford.

Arts Alive: Florida Hospital to hold reception for Art of Healing

The Florida Hospital in Altamonte will host an open house and reception at the Art of Healing gallery for their collection “You are my Sunshine.”
Light refreshments will be provided as artists and patrons alike mingle this Thursday, Sept. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
