Local folk art maven, Jeanine Taylor, has earned a lovely new feather for her cap, as she is about to appear on the cover of “Where Women Create,” a national magazine. She has been honored by being written up by her friend and fellow art-lover, Jen O’Connor of Earth Angel fame.
The feature story glimpses into Taylor’s 20 year career promoting and dealing in folk art after being inspired by a trip to Newfoundland. Fast-forwarding through her decades of diligent work and devotion, Taylor has built one of our Historic District’s cornerstone establishments for which she is now being celebrated.
A release party to celebrate the event will be held at Jeanine Taylor Folk Art gallery this Saturday, Aug. 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a champagne toast, refreshments and magazines available for purchase.
