DeBary’s John Cox led from start to finish, finishing with a four-day total of 20 bass for 54-pounds, 13-ounces to claim the title of Forrest Wood Cup Champion at the Forrest Wood Cup at Wheeler presented by Walmart and won the $300,000 top cash prize in the tournament that featured 50 of the top bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for professional bass-fishing’s world championship.

   For those fans who can’t wait for the start of the football season, most schools will be playing their ‘color’ intersquad games this week _ Red-Gray at Lake Mary, Black-Orange at Seminole, etc. _ in preparation for next week’s (Aug. 19) Pigskin Classics. Check with your school for days and times.
