Horace Lee Moore, Jr., “Guinea”, 59, of Sanford, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs, Florida.  He was born on April 23, 1959 in Perry, Florida to the late Horace Lee Moore, Sr. and the late Ethel Mae Blanton Keys.  At an early age, Horace migrated with his family to Sanford, Florida.

Ginger Lynn Scott Nogueira born on December 2, 1957 in Sanford, Florida left this earth on Saturday May 19. 2018.

Beverly Ann Pinkney 64 Sanford passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at First Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 700 Elm Avenue Sanford, Florida with Reverend Doctor Harry D. Rucker Officiating. Interment and Committal services will be held in Shiloh Cemetery Sanford, Florida.

James Arthur Bruce Sr., loving Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Friend, Teacher and Coach passed peacefully on Thursday May 24, 2018 at the age of 92.  He was born on December 16, 1925, in Flint, Michigan to Peter and Christina Bruce.   After graduating from Western Michigan University with a degree in history.

Bernice Ruth Doe, 74, of Sanford, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28, 2018.  She was born on November 10, 1943 in Arlington, Georgia the late Herbert B. Hall and the late Lorene Kirkland.   At an early age, Bernice and her family relocated to Sanford, Florida.  She attended Seminole County Public Schools and was a graduate of Crooms High School, Sanford, Florida.

Marie Josephine Ferranda, 86, of Apopka, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was born on March 14, 1932 in Englewood, New Jersey to Sebastian and Mary Cernigliaro. Marie spent her working life as a Paralegal for the Superior Court of New Jersey and was a member of the Italian American Club. Marie was also a longtime member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte.

Roberta Lee Heffington age 66, of Sanford, Florida, passed away May 27, 2018. She was born November 11, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pa. , the daughter of the late Robert D. & Thomas L. Heffington. Roberta was a pharmacy technician, prior to her retirement. She was predeceased by her parents, and a sister Ann Whysong. Mrs. Heffington is survived by her husband Thomas L.

Dorothea M. Nelson, 109, formerly of Ladoga, passed away on May 26, 2018 in Sanford, Florida. She was born on December 5, 1908 in Ladoga, IN to the late Arthur Monroe and Clara Mae (Morris) Densmore. On May 17, 1933 she married James Harrison (Peanut) Nelson. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1990. Dorothea was a 1926 graduate from Ladoga High School.

Ralph Oliver Sr.a native of Sanford born in Quincy,Florida January 8,1943. Preceded in death by parents :Jack Oliver Sr. Lily Mae Oliver (wife); Mother Adell Gilchrist Oliver. Attended Public Schools of Seminole County ,graduate of Crooms High School class of 1961.Served in the Army for 2 years as an active member in Vietnam as a combat medic for his country.

Theodora E. Peete, 74, of Orange City, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida surrounded by her loving and devoted sister, Luella Coombs.  She was born on April 7, 1944 in Sanford, Florida to the late Theodore Roosevelt Brown and Mae Bell Dennis Brown.
