Victoria Laraine Perry, 33, of Sanford, passed away July 11, 2018 at Haven Hospital/Robert Care Center in Palatka, Fla. She was born in Sanford and worked in environmental service. She was a Baptist and enjoyed reading and spending time with her children and family.

Joella Singleton was the second born child to Marion and Florence Butler Sr. on December 6, 1938. She attended the local segregated schools of Seminole County. In 1957 she graduated from the esteemed Crooms Academy. She earned her B.S. from Tennessee State in Home Economics and her Master’s in Guidance Counseling from Creighton University (Omaha, NE).

Joseph George Typner Jr. passed away at home surrounded by family on July 2, 2018. He is survived by his wife Pattie, two daughters Tiffany(Chris), and Stacey(Raymond), and his six grandchildren Kylie, Damon, Shelby, Aryton, Colby, and Nicholas. He attended Florida State University and work as a highway patrol officer. 

Johnnie Mae Walters, 71, born in Claxton, GA, November 24, 1946, to Johnny and Evelyn Jones, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 in Ocala, Fl, with her loving family present. Ms. Walters was an Entrepreneur and had many skills, including sewing, as she was always known to make beautiful garments for her children, curtains and many memorable items.

Norbert R Jacobs, 87 of Sanford, passed away July 8, 2018. Jake, as he was known, was born in Dresden, KS. He was a graduate of Leoville High School in Leoville, KS. Jake was a U.S. Air Force veteran with 22 years of service. Following military retirement, he was employed with Melonville Nursing Home/Lakeview Manor and Crank Construction.

In Loving Memory of Brandon Matthieu Kendall. Brandon has gone to be with the Lord at his fathers with family surrounding him as Jesus took him home. Brandon beloved son of Shawn Kendall and Cynthia Aparicio, stepson of Jessica. Brandon was a good child and lovely son. Brandon was a good man and loved with all his heart. He would help anyone even if he didn't have enough to spare.

Joe passed away on July 4th at his home in Sanford surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 2, 1936 in Apopka, Florida. He is survived by his wife Brenda, 4 children: daughters, Vicky (Ray), Donna (Don), Karen, son Tyler, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and his beloved dog Abby.

Thelma Wilson Nathan-Mike, 91, of Sanford, passed away July 7, 2018 at Florida Hospital in Altamonte Springs. Thelma Wilson Nathan-Mike was born in Sanford and was the administrator for The Good Samaritan Home, which was founded by her parents. She served on the Mother Board at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and International Mother of Prayer at New Beginnings Fellowship of Churches.

Margie Lee Stokes Garner, 78, of Oviedo, passed away June 30, 2018 at Florida Hospital Winter Park. She was born in St. Petersburg, Fla. and was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons, Michael Garner (Regina) and Charles Garner, both of Oviedo; daughters, Nakeia M. Robinson and Faith M. Garner, both of Oviedo; brother, Mark Wilson Jr.

Wilfred John (Bill) Holland, age 70, of Sparta, TN passed away suddenly on July 2, 2018 at his home. Bill was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on June 22, 1948. His family moved to Sanford, FL when he was three years old where he lived until moving to Tennessee in 1978. Bill attended Seminole High School, Sanford, FL and served in the National Guard.
