Sanford Airport seeks businesses to fill surrounding vacant land

And by partnering with Orlando-based NAI Realvest, they hope to capitalize on the land they have with a host of forthcoming retail and other mixed-use facilities to create a hub of activity around the airport.

Body of missing autistic boy, 6, found in lake

Six-year-old Humza Mohammad Syed went missing from his home in Lake Mary onSaturday evening.

The body of a young autistic boy who went missing on Saturday night was found in Sawyer Lake the next day, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.

Six-year-old Humza Mohammad Syed was last seen around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4 at the family’s home on Ridgemount Place in Lake Mary.

New Millennium Middle School, Seminole 9th Grade Center to open this year

The new Millennium Middle School is a state of the art modern facility, according to Principal Margaret Gunderson.

As the school year begins Aug. 10, so will two brand new schools in the county, the Seminole High School 9th Grade Center and the new Millennium Middle School.

The 9th Grade Center sits where the old Millennium Middle School used to, behind Seminole High.
