Sanford and Central Florida Soap Box Derby representatives Kira Hart (top) and Cheyenne Zabele (above) finished fourth in Local Stock and seventh in Rally Super Stock, respectively, at the 81st Annual First Energy All-American Soap Box Derby at Derby Downs Track in Akron, Ohio, in July.

Morgan Mitchell (No. 1, top) threw for two touchdowns and ran for another and Keonte Coffie (No. 2, above) ran for three scores in leading visiting Oviedo High School to a, 44-23, victory over Hagerty High School in the annual City of Oviedo Challenge Cup contest.

The Lake Mary High School girls golf team (top) of Izzy Pellot, Karoline Tuttle, Alyssa Mercado, Gabby Perlstein, Serina Li, Kayla Li, Maddy Staub and Darby Nuxol, under the direction of Head Coach Dennis Burchill (in no particular order above), shot a 2-day total of 574 to win the Girls Championship at the 9th annual Antigua National High School Golf Invitational played on the Devil’s Claw Course at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona. The freshman duo of Karoline Tuttle (on left in above photo) and Izzy Pellot shot a 6-under-par 138 to tie for Low Medalist Honors, with Pellot getting first place on a scorecard tie-breaker, to lead the Rams to a 4-stroke win over the Troy High School Warriors from Fullerton, California, and 16-strokes over the Gators from Xavier College Preparatory of Phoenix, Arizona.
