The Lake Mary High School Golf Program swept this week’s Seminole Athletic Conference Golf Championships, the girls (top) besting Seminole for the third consecutive year at Casselberry Golf Club on Monday and the boys (above) claiming the title at Deer Run on Tuesday. The FHSAA Playoffs begin this week with District Tournaments. On Monday, Seminole will be hosting Class 3A-Distict 5 (Apopka, Lake Brantley, Lake Mary, Lyman, Oviedo, Seminole, Wekiva, Winter Springs) Boys at Red Tail at 8:30 a.m. and the Circle Christian will hosting the boys and girls Class 1A-District 11 (Circle Christian, Geneva, Lake Highland Prep, Orangewood Christian, The Masters Academy, Trinity Prep) at Deer Run starting at 9 a.m. On Tuesday, the Class 3A-District 5 Girls will be hosted by Lake Brantley at 8:30 a.m. at Wekiva Gold Course; the Class 3A-District 6 Boys (Boone, Colonial, Hagerty, Lake Howell, Timber Creek, Orlando-University, Winter Park) will be hosted by Winter Park at Rio Pinar at 9 a.m. and the Class 1A-District 9 Boys and Girls (Crooms, Father Lopez, First Academy-Leesburg, Lake Mary Prep, Mount Dora Christian, Deltona-Trinity Christian) will be hosted by Lake Mary Prep at Timacuan Golf Club at 12:30 p.m. The Girls Class 3A-District 6 will be hosted by Hagerty on Wednesday at 9 a.m. at Twin Rivers.
