36 of the top athletes and administrators (top-to-bottom) from 2017-2018 were honored back in mid-May at the 10th Annual Seminole County Breakfast of Champions at the Lake Mary Events Center. The top four individual honors went to: Athletic Director of the Year _ Jay Getty, Hagerty; Coach of the Year _ Dennis Burchill, Lake Mary, Girls Golf; Boys Scholar Athlete _ Parker Jochum, Trinity Prep; and Girls Scholar Athlete _ Katelyn Gomrad, Winter Springs.

The Winter Park Diamond Dawgs (above) put up a great fight, advancing all the way from the Play-In Game to the ‘if necessary’ Game 3 final on Monday.
