Energetic and independent is Olivia Henry, as best described by her Aunt Noel and Nana, Michelle. Olivia, dubbed as the Bake Sale Princess in the community, is determined to raise money to follow her dream, win as many local and state pagents as possible.The community also gives her their full support.

We pause to remember Mannie Leroy Clark of Sanford and everyone who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on our country on September 11, 2001, as well as those who were injured, the responders, and all of their families and our country as a whole.  The events of that day changed our way of life in America.

This Saturday, September 15, downtown Sanford will host the Art Walk

Polls for the People’s Choice competition open at 6 p.m. and close at 8:30 p.m. when the winner will be announced.

Garden guru Ginny Stibolt and I caught up breathlessly last Thursday afternoon. The timing was fortuitous because, she began our interview by saying, “I start my book tour today, so I'm off to Tallahassee in a couple of hours.”
