Tweety, the President of the United States of America is unhappy with the Twerp, the Supreme Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

The Twerp is a distraction from important things Tweety needs to take care of in our fair land.

What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

No New Police Officers?

The City of Sanford budget discussions took a turn for the worse a week ago. As reported on the front page of the Sanford Herald, the City Manager, Norton Bonaparte, put the quietus on any proposal to add more policemen. “If we increased the number of police, we’d possibly have to reduce the budget in other departments”.  

Tweety, the President of the United States of America, put on quite a show this last week.

First, he gave a speech in Poland about preserving things of mutual value, like Western Civilization. This caused an uproar in Democratic circles, where his remarks were greeted with knee-jerk comments about racism, fascism, and other isms.

Tweety does it again

Every time it looks like Tweety, the President of the United States of America, has vanquished his foes and has a chance to bring order out of the chaos that has been his administration so far, he comes up with a new way to destroy the momentum.

Remember a few months ago, Nordstrom announced it was no longer carrying Ivanka Trump’s fashion line? The reason given was that it wasn’t selling well. The free publicity generated a tremendous increase in sales for Ivanka’s offerings in other outlets.
Now the news is that after that debacle, the Nordstrom family is considering taking the company private.

Monday, as an agenda item, the commission voted to take over the maintenance of US 17-92 from First Street and French Avenue. along the lakefront all the way to the East bound off-ramp of I-4, a distance of three miles.
