Mrs. Ethelrine Jefferson, 72, of Tampa, Florida passed away Friday, March 23, 2018.   Mrs. Ethelrine Jefferson was a native of Sanford, FL and joined Providence M. B. Church, Lake Monroe, FL at an early age and later moved to Tampa where she united with the Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church.

James William Markos age 67, of Sanford, Florida, passed away March 21, 2018. Mr. Markos was born October 24, 1950 in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of the Paul L. and Audrey M. (Kelly) Markos. James worked in management for the

Thomas L. Mayes, 79 of Sanford, Florida died on March 21, 2018 in Sanford, Florida. Mr. Mayes was born on December 25, 1938 to the Late Thomas Mayes, Sr. and the Late Ethel Gooden.  He was a retired Truck Driver and a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church where he served on the Trustee Board. 

Robert Scott Vogt, a resident of Lake Mary, FL, died unexpectedly on March 20, 2018 at the age of 52 due to natural causes. 

Brother Richard Miller Jr. was born December 31, 1927, to the union of Richard and Louise Roper Miller of Lake Alfred, Florida, and was the eldest son of five children.  He attended Polk County Public Schools.

William " Preston " Richardson age 31, of Sanford, Florida passed away March 21, 2018. Preston was born July 6, 1986 in Sanford, Florida, the son of the William H. Richardson and Faye Skiver. He worked in the construction industry. Preston was predeceased by his grandparents and his father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Helen Yvonne Starke Stucks, 71, died peacefully Saturday, March 17, 2018, in Tallahassee, FL.  She’s the daughter of the late Dr. George H. and Hattie R. “Sweetie” Starke, of Sanford, FL. Helen attended the public schools of Seminole and Volusia Counties and was a member of St.

Homer Gerald "Jerry" Tackett, 79, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Lake Mary, Florida. He was born January 7, 1939 in Robinson Creek, Kentucky to Homer and Marie Tackett. Jerry leaves behind his loving wife of 44+ years, Virginia Tackett, his son Mikel Brett Tackett of Citrus County, daughters Pamela Denise Blanton (Jim) of Mt.

Jose Gutierrez, age 91, of Oviedo, Florida, passed away peacefully in his home on March 14, 2018. Born in Cardenas, Cuba.Jose was a gentle, humble and hard working man that loved God and his family. Devoted husband for 59 years to Clotilde Gutierrez; loving and proud father to Amy Gutierrez, M.D.
