ORDINANCE NO. 18-2140

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF THE LONGWOOD CITY CODE TO ADOPT A BACKYARD CHICKEN PROGRAM TO ALLOW THE KEEPING OF CHICKENS ON PROPERTIES DEVELOPED WITH DETACHED SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES AND CREATING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONCERNING THE KEEPING OF CHICKENS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

 

 

Said Ordinance was placed on first reading on Monday, July 16, 2018, and the City Commission will consider same for final passage and adoption after the public hearing, which will be held in the City Commission Chambers, 175 West Warren Avenue, Longwood, Florida, on Monday, the 20 th day of August, A.D., 2018, 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible.
