NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Longwood, Florida, which the City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider enactment of the following Ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO. 18-2138
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT GRANTING EMBARQ FLORIDA, INC. D/B/A CENTURYLINK A FIVE-FOOT EASEMENT FOR A COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS UPON CITY-OWNED PROPERTY WITH TAX PARCEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS 31-20-30-300-0390-0000 AND 31-20-30-300-0410-0000; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Said Ordinance was placed on first reading on Monday, March 19, 2018, and the City Commission will consider same for final passage and adoption after the public hearing, which will be held in the City Commission Chambers, 175 West Warren Avenue, Longwood, Florida, on Monday, the 2nd day of April , A.D., 2018, 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible. At the meeting, interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance. This hearing may be continued from time to time until final action is taken by the City Commission.
A copy of the proposed Ordinance is posted at the Longwood City Hall, Longwood, Florida, and copies are on file with the Clerk of the City and same may be inspected by the public.
NOTICE: All persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decisions made at this meeting/hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purposes, they may need to insure that a verbatim record is made, which record to include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be made (per Sec. 286.0105, Florida Statutes).
