Notice of Public Hearing
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA that the City Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the item may be heard, in the City Commission Chambers, 175 West Warren Avenue, Longwood, Florida, in order to consider the following.  The purpose of this hearing is to receive public input on the following requested Special Exception Package (SPE 06-16) for:
 
Applicant: Chris and Larry Belair
Description: Single Family Subdivision
Tax Parcel ID#: 31-20-30-300-0010-0000
Location:                   205 14th Ave, Longwood, FL, 32750
Request: To allow the following Special Exception (SPE 06-16) requesting an exception from City of Longwood Land Development Code (LDC 3.2.1.A) to allow for an increase in the maximum Impervious Surface Ratio (ISR) in Low Density Residential (LDR) from an allowable 42% to proposed 65% per lot for a proposed subdivision.  
 
 
At this meeting, all interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to this matter.  This hearing may be continued from time to time until final action is taken. The matter discussed at this hearing is quasi-judicial in nature.  
 
A copy of the proposed request is on file in the Community Development Services Division Office of the Community Development Services Department at 174 West Church Avenue, Longwood, Florida for inspection by the public, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or if you wish additional information, please call the Office at 407/260-3462.
 
All persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decisions made at this meeting/hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purposes, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record to include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (per Sec. 286.0105, Florida Statutes).
