Snarky McSnide says, ITS NOW SEPTEMBER

ITS NOW SEPTEMBER

August, except for the last day, was a terrible month for Donald Trump, so was July, so was June, so was——

So far, September is looking better, Trump outlined his immigration plan at a rally in Phoenix, then he visited a church in Detroit and was given a standing ovation. The  TV feed was run by Reuters, when the Bishop was putting a religious shawl on Donald’s shoulders, orders were given to the cameraman to stop filming!  Apparently seeing Trump reaching out to black voters was too much for Reuters, they had had enough.  The Trump caravan then went on to Philadelphia. The results of the outreach to black voters? So far, declining support.

Trump’s immigration plan was roundly booed by the New York Times and the Washington Post. Twenty-three years ago, when Bill Clinton outlined an immigration plan eerily similar in content, he was given a standing ovation! The press has been silent on charges of plagiarism this time.

The President of Mexico, Pena Nieto, extended an invitation to both candidates to visit his country. Trump, of all people, accepted. According to the media, Pena Nieto was lambasted by his countrymen for allowing The Donald to even cross the border.

So far, September has been a terrible month for Clinton. Friday, the FBI released more notes about her use of unprotected emails.

Hillary, throwing Pena Nieto under the bus, refused to go on a trip of her own to Mexico. She has not been seen on the campaign trail much except for an appearance in Cleveland. It was the usual setup, only there were no people behind her to cheer, only the vice-presidential candidate, Tim Kaine. Kaine was like a deer in the headlights, having to sit there in full view of the TV camera while Clinton coughed for five minutes and could barely speak when she finally conquered the problem in her throat.

Was Kaine there to catch her if she fell? Usually there are several secret service personnel around her. It was painful to watch.
