Arts Alive: Sanford Art Walk seeks submissions

The Historic Sanford Welcome Center has issued a call to artists for their upcoming Art Walk opening on July 16. This month’s theme is “Aperture: Keep it in Focus” and all content photographic will be considered.
    Submission deadline is July 12, visit their website for more information.

Call to Actors
    
The Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center has issued a call to actors for their upcoming production of “Beauty and the Beast.”
Adult leads’ auditions are on July 14, 16 and 18 while children (for the roles of Chip and the Enchanted Items) will try out on July 19.

Time Chasers
    
Fathom Films will bring the cultishly classic antics from the characters of Mystery Science Theater 3000 to theaters around the country including the AMC in Altamonte next Tuesday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Art Walk
    
Next Saturday night, our fair village will host the monthly Art Walk. Galleries and artsy locales will stay open late while food trucks will congregate around Palmetto and 2nd St.
Check out fresh art at The Gallery on First, Jeanine Taylor Folk Art, Hollerbach’s Art Haus, The Smiling Bison, The Historic Sanford Welcome Center and more.
