Altamonte shooting injures 3 including 6-year-old girl

Altamonte Springs Police are investigating a shooting at the Sealy Apartments that injured three people including a 6-year-old.
Police said around 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday police responded to apartments in reference to a shooting. Police immediately heard shots fired and saw a black Lexus ES300 leaving the scene at a high rate of speed.
The suspects drove into the Charter Point Apartments and police saw two men exit and flee. The men were not apprehended. According to the incident report police said the men appeared to be black and in their mid-twenties.
Inside the car they ditched, police found marijuana.
At the Sealy Apartments police found three victims – two adult males, 26, and a child, 6. The adults sustained non-life threatening injuries and it believed the child received an abrasion on her head cause by a bullet fragment.
The victims were taken to a local hospital and were listed in stable condition.
Police said they believe this was not a random act of violence. According to the incident report the victims’ family were holding a cookout in the apartment complex when they saw one of the pacing back and forth.
The victim told police the man then approached his family and opened fire.
