Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens opens its doors to those impacted by recent tragedies

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is offering complimentary admission to anyone involved with the tragic events that took place in Orlando over the past week. This includes law enforcement, first responders, survivors, survivor's families, and families of the victims.
 "We believe that being around animals can help in the healing process," said Philip Flynn III, Zoo President & CEO. "To those individuals and their families connected to these tragic events, please be our guest.  It is our hope that a visit to the Zoo will allow you to decompress, relax and renew."
The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is a private nonprofit education and conservation resource. With over 500 animals and many educational opportunities, the Zoo provides the community with experiences that excite and inspire children and adults to learn and act on behalf of wildlife.
