Stealing a steal

June 3, Accoushia Niakial Williams, 21, of 1501 Southwest Rd, Goldsboro, was detained after walking out of a Dollar General without paying for several items, one of which was a size 16 large Hanky Tank. Dollar General was selling it for $4.00, the regular price for Hanky Tanks ranges from $20 to $50.

Cruelty to animal

June 4, Auriel Brown, 25, of 1602 W 12th St. Goldsboro, was observed beating Shawn Sutton’s dog with a bat. She also destroyed the animals cage. Brown and Sutton had been in an altercation earlier in the day.

Criminal mischief, disturbing the peace

June 5, Deshannon Jevon Davis, 27, of 1701 Historic Goldsboro Blvd, was reported to police by a number of patrons of Walmart. Deshannon was knocking glass items off shelves, which were breaking and scattering across the floor. Deshannon refused to leave when asked to by store personnel.
