Hagerty, led by Leandra Mangual and Sydney Conley (bumping up ball and No. 15, top), and Oviedo, behind Savannah Vach (No. 1, above), who was named a First Team 2018 Under Armour Girls High School All-American on Thursday and will travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota to play in the Under Armour All-American game on December 14, showed why they are favored to win the Class 8A and 9A State Championships, respectively, easing past previously unbeaten East Ridge and No. 2 state-ranked Spruce Creek in Regional Semifinals on Tuesday. The pair will hit the road on Tuesday for Regional Championship matches at Tampa-Plant and defending Class 9A State Champion West Orange. This is the third consecutive year that these four teams have faced each other in the regional final.
