Earl Sutton, 73, of Sanford, passed away Oct. 28, 2018 at Vitas Suites at South Seminole Hospital in Longwood. He was born in Sanford and worked for Kodak as a painter.

Charlie Mae Bell, 71, of Sanford, passed away Oct. 22, 2018 at the Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs. She was born in Sodus, N.Y. and worked in retail at the Ross Department Store. She was also a member of Church of Christ and enjoyed serving the Lord, reading and family.

Charles L. Bose has passed away in Murphy, North Carolina on October 21, 2018. Mr. Bose was born March 2, 1936 to parents Lawrence and Anna Bose. Mr. Bose is survived by his loving wife Linda Bose, children Mark Bose and Alice-Margret Byerts (Dean), and grandchildren Mallory Teal, Marissa Bose, Mason Bose, Mattan Bose, Mindy Byerts, and Ginny Anderson. Johnnie L. Jones, 93, of Sanford, passed away Oct. 6, 2018 at the Healthcare & Rehabiliation Center of Sanford. He was born in Sanford and is survived by his wife, Lula Mae Jones of Medford, N.Y.; his niece, LaWanda Andrews of Medford, N.Y.; and a host of loving friends. Mr. Jones was buried Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Fla.

Barbara Jean Whittaker 80 passed away on Thursday October 25, 2018 at Florida Hospital Altamonte. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at New Zion Primitive Baptist Church 2390 Greenway Avenue Sanford. Interment will follow in Restlawn Cemetery. Ms. Whittaker was born on Sunday February 20, 1938 to the late Burl Woods and Gahaza Parker in Quincy, Florida.

Lyric Leilani Bynes, 3 months, of Sanford, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Florida Hospital Orlando, Orlando, Florida.  She was born on June 17, 2018 in Orlando, Florida to Shakiyla Blake and Benny Bynes.

It is with great sadness that the family of Dexter Lit Farrow announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, October 11th, 2018, at the age of 67 in Sanford, Florida. Dexter, son of the late Jimmie and Louise Farrow, was born June 17th, 1951 in Collins, Georgia. He attended the public schools of Polk County and was a licensed electrician.

Sherry Ann Goode-Carmell age 61, of Chuluota, Fl., passed away October 8, 2018. She was born November 4, 1956 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Charlie W. and Beverly Jean (Blanchard) Goode. Sherry was  self employed in the sewing industry. She was predeceased by her father Charlie W. Goode. Sherry is survived by her mother Beverly J.

Leroy Alfonso James, 72, of Sanford, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on November 19, 1945 in Saint James, Jamaica, West Indies.  Leroy attended school in Saint James, Jamaica.    He later migrated to the United States of America and became a citizen.  Leroy was a very hard worker.  He worked as an electrician for numerous years.

Deputy Kenneth "Joe” Negri passed away on October 20, 2018, at the age of 61.  Joe Negri was born on December 14, 1956, in Miami, Florida to John and Olivia Negri.  In 1975, he joined the United States Army where he proudly served until 1981.  Joe joined the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office in 1981 as a Detention Deputy at the now John E. Polk Correctional Facility.
