Not so nice: The landscaping and condition of Sanford's main water plant across the street
The Utility Department is not broke. It can afford cedar trees on the lakefront to hide the main sewer plant, affectionately known as Stinky. On the campaign trail, the Mayor talks proudly about the millions being spent on beautification of Seminole Boulevard. Maybe he needs to stop by the corner of Country Club and 46A to see an example of what it will look like in a few years. He might also take a peek at Stinky Jr. on the newly 'improved' Oak Ave.
