Poor Donald Trump

Adnan Khashoggi had the largest yacht in the world. Needing money, he sold it to the Sultan of Brunei. The Sultan then sold it for $29 million to guess who?  Donald Trump  Trump got in a bind and sold it to Prince Al-Waleed for $20 million in return for the prince bailing out his Taj Mahal casino.

Where are they now?

Donald Trump is the leader of the free world. Adnan Khashoggi is no longer with us. His nephew Dodi Fayed went bye bye in the tunnel with Princess Di. Just a week ago, another nephew, Jamal Khashoggi, tripped over the chopping block in the kitchen of the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. Jamal was writing articles in Jeff Bezos Washington Post that were critical of the present Saudi regime.

Trump's former best buddy, Prince Al-Waleed? He was jailed along with many other Saudi princes last year in Riyadh. Most of them got out on bail, which meant most of their fortunes. The guy who had them jailed? None other than Mohammed bin Salman, the power behind the throne, and the one catching the heat for Jamal's disappearance.  Mohammed bin Salman was Trump's newest best buddy in the Middle East. MBS was doing so well, he was letting women drive, though he jailed the female leaders of the crusade.  He then let women attend sporting events and opened up movie theaters.  He checked the power of the Wahabi clerics.  He backed Trump's Iranian policy.

Now he is a pariah. Trump, a long time pariah himself, now has to figure out how to get both of them out of this mess.

The Iranians and their best buddies, the Russians and the Democrats, couldn't be happier.
